What the catalogue measures

We use first-party aggregate totals to understand product and page opens, visible catalogue cards and homepage sections, WhatsApp, telephone and Request-a-Part launches, sanitized searches and result counts, filters and vehicle demand, broad device and browser categories, referring website domain, and broad performance or error categories.

These actions indicate interest only. They do not tell us whether a message was sent, a call was completed, or a sale occurred.

What catalogue analytics exclude

We do not put customer names, telephone numbers, WhatsApp accounts or messages, call contents or outcomes, Request-a-Part details, precise location, raw or hashed IP addresses, persistent customer identifiers, or browser fingerprints into catalogue analytics. We do not sell catalogue analytics or use advertising or cross-site tracking.

Request a Part and contact providers

Request-a-Part details are converted into a WhatsApp message inside your browser and are not submitted to or stored by this catalogue. WhatsApp receives them only when you choose to open WhatsApp and send the message. After you choose WhatsApp or telephone, we and that communications provider may receive your number, profile, message or call information outside this website.

Short-lived browser storage

This site keeps short-lived browser data to restore your catalogue filters, loaded products and position after Back, and product ID/time entries for 24 hours to reduce repeated popularity counts. This history is not uploaded as a customer profile. Private staff administration uses essential authentication and security cookies.

Aggregation, retention and access

Access is restricted by staff role. Product, contact, card, hero, filter and vehicle-demand daily totals are retained for 13 months and then compact monthly totals for up to 36 months. Sanitized searches and performance detail are retained for 90 days before shorter monthly retention; error detail is retained for 30 days before monthly totals. Low-value one-off searches are removed.

Hosting and service providers

Our hosting country and applicable processor and cross-border safeguards will be stated here after the required pre-launch verification. WhatsApp and telephone providers process information under their own terms once you choose those services.

You may ask what personal information we hold, request correction or deletion where applicable, object where applicable, or contact Uganda’s Personal Data Protection Office. Aggregate catalogue statistics ordinarily cannot be connected back to an individual visitor.
